To continue into Spring 2022.

Unfortunately, I am not sure how many pictures I will be able to supply this year . Some builders are in building an extension for me .
I might have to live off all your lovely photos. Keep them coming!💐

Love Hellebores - Christmas Roses !

Chasingsquirrels · 05/04/2022 23:28

My Amelanchier.
Brought this time last year & kept in a half-water-butt (can just see at the back of the picture) until late autumn due to some garden changes, then planted where it is now, and underplanted with hellebores that had self seeded through the garden.

Should have taken the picture from a different aspect so all the crap in the small area next to the house wasn't visible.

@Chasingsquirrels

Squirrels didn't touch my sunflowers last year (although sunflowers in the front garden and squirrels free ranging in the tree line at the back).

Do things from the garden count? Arse of a dog has no boundaries and trampled through my daffodil border. So I cut some for a vase inside.

These are beautiful.

Such beautiful pictures. Lovely hellebores @AnneKipankitoo, beautiful purple flowers @Frenchfancy. So many more that I can never remember as I type Grin

I had some beautiful flowers growing.. then the snow and hail came and killed them all (ok most of them). Alas!

Some of my last dwarf tulips and some purple sprouting which I was too happy with not to share (not a flower 🤫)

Tulips planted last autumn.
The purple ones (there are 4 planters - this is the best) got attacked by something, I think squirrels so aren't as good as they should be.
Really pleased with the orange ones which are just opening.

And a Golden Wonder Rhododendron I got on Monday then decided it was too small for the garden, and another Rhododendron I just picked up in Aldi along with 2 of the pots it is in. It is going in the garden but can sit in the pot for a short time while it flowers.

They look good Robin123.

Just on the way back from filling up DP's landy with bags of "soil improver" from the local waste management site - it was steaming so will have to leave it a bit before spreading it. I think more trips may be called for!

AnneKipankitoo · 16/04/2022 11:15

Beautiful butterfly 🦋 @Robin233
