To continue into Spring 2022.

Unfortunately, I am not sure how many pictures I will be able to supply this year . Some builders are in building an extension for me .
I might have to live off all your lovely photos. Keep them coming!💐

Lovely @Luna42 !
No . I don’t have chickens @starlingdarling . The egg is a blue green colour and the size of a small egg from a chicken.

My first sweet pea is out! This is Cupani, I had them last year and it left me one baby, which I've been watching since January. They smell so good!

Ooh that's a very impressive peony, do you know which it is?9

Robin233 · 04/06/2022 19:22

@MrsHamlet
Is that a castor oil plant in pic 3?
Looks very lush.

MrsHamlet · 04/06/2022 21:01

@MrsBertBibby it's Buckeye. It's a really striking one - my others are all pinks.
@Robin233 it is. It was really tiny when it went in but it's obviously super happy there. It even flowered last year!

applecatchers36 · 05/06/2022 18:16

Unusual blooming peonies and the start of the sweet peas makes me excited for what is still to come in the garden 🪴

BeaLola · 05/06/2022 18:40

Rose is David Austin's LD Braithwsite (but rain/wind battered from last night) and ceanothus is Concha & Jasminum Fiona Sunrise has sneaked through it

Is anyone opening their garden for the National Garden Scheme? It’s my first time opening this weekend and I am nervous.

AnneKipankitoo · 06/06/2022 11:07

Beautiful @BeaLola

That’s great @Keeponkeepigon , my garden is not good enough and I have builders in.

Everything is flowering beautifully this time of year 😊. Sadly I pruned two of my favourite roses and killed them, absolutely annihilated them. I've replaced them with some new ones and look forward to them opening (although gutted that the one I used to have is unavailable- also too scared to ever prune again!).

Lavender is doing wonderfully, jasmine in full bloom, and some hydrangea buds forming.

Is that a tiny flower or an enormous spider? Love the Anemones, I only got mine in a couple of weeks agp and no sogn yet, but the cheap ranunculus bulbs I got in Homebase and planted the week before are now showing through, so I remain hopeful.

AnneKipankitoo · 10/06/2022 14:00

Great photos @MrsBertBibby .

Here are some photos, the open gardens is this Sunday. So still lots of deadheading and weeding to do tomorrow. It’s a white garden so I’m sure some people will find it boring or not their cup of tea. But I love it. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
