Does anyone have one of those cheap little greenhouses….

The ones with a frame and a plastic cover, that DIDNT get destroyed by all the winds recently. Mine is a heap with the cover all torn and while I don’t have the need or space for a proper greenhouse, it seems terribly wasteful to get one that only lasts one season.

Help! Any recommendations?

Thanks

Could you manage with a cold frame?

What’s a cold frame?

Ours is wedged behind the shed in pieces from the December storm. Low Aldi coldframe still intact.

Sorry to hear this. I only put mine up in about April, weighed down by stones and they last fine. Then I take them down again once the plants are out.

Yes but 1. didn't have the worst of the storms and 2. mine wasn't cheap and it's glass not plastic, but it is a mini-greenhouse.

Got mine here and it has been going over 10 years now.

I’ve googled it - that does look like it might do the trick. Does the Aldi one need to be “installed”.

I like t9 move it to a sunny area and then out of the way in winter
