Autumn fruiting raspberries already sprouting should I chop them?

I planted a variety of raspberries last year and they did very well. Two thirds of them appear to be autumn fruiting varieties which are still producing decent berries and whilst I was picking today I noticed they have lots of sprouting buds, so since they should theoretically be cut to the ground in February should I cut them now to prevent them putting all their energy into the growth that will get cut away? Or should I just leave them for a couple of weeks? Any advice welcome - thanks in advance!
