Just found some allium sphaerocephalon bulbs, too late to plant? How do they do in containers?

Can you replant them in following years?

Ha ha, I've just done exactly the same thing.

I know you can plant them in containers and so I'm going to give it a go. I think that all that will happen is that they will come up later.

Planted the work ones up in containers a week ago as we ran out of time to do anything else so we shall see....
