Garden container for the bottom of a drain pipe

I've just ordered some tube metal trellis to put around a drainpipe and grow some evergreen jasmine- something I've been wanting to do for ages! Have any of you clever MNers come across a garden container designed to go around a drain pipe that isn't made of plastic? TIA!

I've only ever seen them in plastic

You could have a carpenter make a wooden planter or you could make your own using an old towel and cement:
