Just bought honeysuckle but can’t plant yet will it be ok in pot?

As title really, have got a honeysuckle but it’s going against a fence that can’t be fitted yet. Can it stay in it’s pot or will it die?

It will be fine. Keep it well watered and in a sheltered spot.

Definitely fine, they grow very easily.

I would check that the roots aren’t bursting out of the bottom of the pot. It’s the end of the season and it could have been in that pot for quite a while, if it looks at all pot bound I would move it to a larger pot even if it is a temporary move until next spring.
