What weed killer sprayer to buy for allotment ?

I need to spray a large area on my allotment and so need a sprayer, maybe a pump one ? The issue is dock, bindweed, grasses and dandelions. The next patch is totally overgrown, but I need something that has a focused spray so it doesn't carry too much in the wind.

Oh and what weed killer solution is best ?

Do other gardeners in the allotment use weed killers? I'd be surprised if they were happy for you to use one as it may drift in the air to their crops.

You need to look up the no dig method.

@flightofthecrow much of the area has been covered and still is, but the bindweed find its way out of the edges. Interesting about enriching the soil to make weed pull easier.

@MrsJamin we have a large plot and the other half our plot next to us is pure weeds. I have met the owner once and he came and watered for 5 minutes ( he his potatoes which are on the edge. I don't think there would be much drift. We are allowed weed killer.
