I have popped my tradescantia outside, and have noticed these brown marks forming. Is it burning? Bring back in?

Thank you!

I certainly think so. If it has been indoors (at much lower light levels than outside) it will burn easily in the strong sunlight right now. We are almost at the summer equinox, when the sun is at its strongest.
Indoor plants need to be acclimatised gradually to outside conditions, so I would bring it back inside for now, to recover, and maybe find a very shady spot for it when the current heatwave passes.

Oh wow I’m so glad I saw this, mine has those marks too! I thought maybe it was because I wasn’t watering it enough 😳. But after seeing this I’m thinking maybe its because I keep putting it the sun! (Goes the most beautiful pinky/purple)

They are a tropical forest-dweller in the wild and do well in shade. Bright sunshine will just frazzle them.
