A positive thread for those small little celebrations you have that non gardeners wouldn't understand

I had two today.

I realised that all three lupins that were eaten down to the ground by rabbits a few weeks ago have since regrown a couple of leaves each. From NOTHING. I had already replaced them with mature ones from the garden centre so now have double the number of lupins.

Second, a teeny tiny bit of dahlia corm had got chucked in the compost and then repotted in with some basil by accident in the greenhouse. It's now got a good strong plant growing out of it (it's now been moved out of the basil pot) whilst its larger cousins are languishing doing very little in the borders.

My agave Americanum just had babies! All five are potted up & doing well.

I found the remnants of a buddleia which I had forgotten about. Just a couple of leaves but I’ve replanted it and hope it will grow
