Staking Multi stem tree,

I have a stupid question. I've taken delivery of a multi stem Amelanchier. I'm stumped as to how to stake it. I've planted trees before and know how to stake a single stem tree. Common sense tells me to stake the main leader trunk only. It came with two stakes, (ordered as a stake kit separate from the tree) do I need them both? It's around 1.5m tall excluding the pot.

I think a double stake is better to stop root rock. My Amelanchiers were 15 fee when they arrived so were staked for 2 years. Yours will probably need 1 year unless on a very open windy site. This is how I did mine

Sorry just read that you have multi stemmed, so you need to weave the supporting strap.

Your garden is gorgeous! I think you're right, I'll have to stake by weaving through. I just can not find any instructions. on line.
