Wind and Planting Out

I’ve been so busy looking at the temperature to make sure I can plant out my plants, I didn’t even think to look at the wind. It’s meant to be 40mph gusts today, then 20mph gusts over the next few days.

I really wanted to plant out my plants this weekend/early next week. I have loads of plants to go out and most are hardened off already. But worried about them taking a battering from the wind.

Would you plant out over the next few days or wait until Thursday until things are a bit calmer?

I know I should be more patient, but I feel like I have been waiting forever due to the cold overnight temperatures we’ve had recently!

I’d wait, I moved some back into the greenhouse yesterday and last weekend I hid a standard lilac down the side of the house, it’s in a 70l pot and is blooming heavy.
