DH has literally just replaced last week a wisteria that our puppy dug up and ate a fortnight ago with a more expensive, more established one. However, despite having a huge garden that we are not at all precious about, he has honed in on the one thing I have yearned for all my life, not once but twice!
He’s chewed a four foot budding recently planted wisteria into about ten pieces. I don’t know much about gardening (yet - we’ve only been in the house a short while and have just turned our attention to the garden), but thought if I bunged all the broken bits in rooting compound and then buried then with some of the buds in the earth they might crosses fingers hopefully reroot.
Is there anything else I can do to increase my chances of my wisteria dream not withering on the vine (excuse the pun)?
Thanks!
