Do you have a greenhouse?

Hi, I'm contemplating getting a greenhouse. I'm wondering if it's worth the investment? Do you have a greenhouse? What do you grow in it - apart from tomatoes 🤣 Is it worth the money?

Whether a greenhouse is "worth the money"depends on the use you put it to.
If you are propagating large amounts of seedlings for growing out in a productive garden then it may be "worth" it in financial terms.

If you are growing a dozen tomato and chilli plants then it probably won't be financially viable- when you take into account pots, compost, fertiliser etc.
However growing stuff is fun, activities don't always need to be done for profit, and the results of growing are always delicious.

Bollocks to financial viability....nowt beats opening the door on a summers morning and breathing in tomato headiness

As speakout says, it depends on what you mean by "worth the money". Do you judge it in the same way as a trip to the cinema or a meal in a restaurant? Or in purely financial terms - that the amount saved in growing plants from seed rather than buying plants, eating your own tomatoes not buying them? If you are enjoying the process of growing, then a greenhouse averaged over its lifespan is a cheap form of entertainment. If you're looking purely financially, you're probably best off with a garden full for fruit trees and bushes.
