Novice gardener here.
I planted lots of crocus in tubs about a month ago as per the instructions. I have noticed they are all showing little shoots. Is this too early? I didn't think anything would happen until after Xmas at least.
Do I need to do anything to stop them being killed in the winter? I have some left over bark. Should I put a layer of that over them?
