Hi
We have a very small garden so I tend to over think each plant choice! Hoping the gardeners of MN can help as I know very little about plants.
We have a bit of brick wall, SW facing, right outside our kitchen glass doors so very visible. I’d like to put a container there (can be quite a large container) and grow something up the wall .
Looking for something that looks nice in winter so that it will hopefully distract attention from our tarp covered garden furniture! So something evergreen ideally. Nothing that attracts wasps please
Any ideas welcome! I have thought of :
- evergreen clematis - but they tend to look a bit weedy and ratty?
- trachelospermum - but we had planned to have this in various other bits of the garden so would prefer something else just for variety
- bougainvillea - but if there is a frost this will drop. However the wall is very sheltered and we are in London so frost is rare
- Olive tree in a pot - but would prefer something that climbs or can be wall trained
Any ideas pretty please... ? Thanks!
