Orchids?

Hi. I brought an orchid last week which i am keeping inside. It's in quite a small pot and there are new roots or shoots growing in the soil aswell. Some of the leaves are going yellow. I keep moving it around to make sure it's not in direct sunlight. Can anyone help me please.

How much are you watering it? Mine thrives best if I only water it about once a fortnight. Check that the pot has got a drainage hole in the bottom, and stand it on a couple of pebbles in a larger decorative pot, so if there is too much water it can drain out. Also, it might be better to find one place and leave it there - it might not like being moved frequently. Mine's on a window sill that gets a bit of sun late afternoon, and doesn't get too much draught (sp?).
