Just that really.
Going to the garden centre for our first visit this year, don’t want to buy things in flower now.
Thanks !

If you want to grow things from seed or tubers then you’ll be too late for them to flower this year. You’ll need to get things that are already potted up and ready to be planted in the garden like marigolds, geranium, petunia, dianthus, dahlia, osteospurmum and gazania

Just because something is in flower now doesn’t mean it won’t be in a few weeks time. There are lots of plants with a long flowering season, such as Lavatera and some types of geranium that have just started their flowering season, but will keep going until the first frost.
