Watering.

Hi .My DW found some slugs two shelves high in the greenhouse last night.I assumed watering every night we're attracting them by making the garden damp every evening.I've always assumed better to water every other because not normal for so much water under normal conditions.

Just to add , how did the slugs get up there if we used fresh compost from the bag.Are they breeding in the production of compost or climbing the racks at night?Apologise for possibly dumb question.

Either water first thing so the water drys up by night or put some slug traps down,I use the traps that you put beer in

Oh ok but drowning slugs don't think she'd go with enven though she hates them but thanks morning watering makes sense.
