Been working my bum off all day doing the very last bit of tidying up of my previously neglected garden (almost done)
As I started at 9 I was wondering why on earth I was doing it all and so made a cuppa at midday and sat by my pond to cheer myself up when this beautiful damselfly arrived and stayed all afternoon.
I think it's a "Beautiful Demoiselle" (I had to Google) and never seen one at my pond before!
Last year we had actual DRAGONFLIES! (Feck me they are HUGE!) Hoping they come again.
Thought someone might like to see a bit of natures beauty.
