Boxus is buggered.

Bought these two from a discount store last year and they've been doing really well until recently. As you can see one looks awful from the outside but is green if you move the outer branches away. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? They are in full sun first thing and in quite a breezy spot if the wind is up. They don't get watered in sunlight and I've used some plant feed on them a few times.

Box tree moth maybe? We’ve lost most of our lovely box plants to these buggers Sad

Have a closer look to see if you can see any green and black caterpillars. I planted some box a few years ago and they were beautiful until the first April when they were virtually obliterated by the pesky box caterpillar. They were like skeletons! It happened again later in the year. I gave up in the end and took them all out ☹️

The Royal Horticultural Society is busy researching into alternatives for Box because of a disease which has taken hold.
