I am the owner of a pumpkin that hasnt been eaten yet, about the size of a orange but rugby shaped....now, what do I have to do with it please? And how long will it take to go orangey?

noone cares about my pumpkin Anyway now its BIGGER do I have to do anything or are the slugs going to get it when it hits the floor?
