Ants!!

Anyone else dealing with a crazy amount of ants in their garden this year?

Every pot I have seems to have an ants nest in it. I can't lay on my grass without getting covered in the critters!

Mix equal parts icing sugar and bi carb, spread it all around where there are ants, safe for children and pets, but it will kill the ants. They will be gone by tomorrow.

There are ants everywhere this year, little blighters.

Are ants harmful in the garden?

Not really. They are a nuisance this year though.

You can sit anywhere without them crawling over you, on to your food and in to your drinks!

They are also in the house now. I found a nest in a pot we keep by the back door.

The reason you do the icing sugar is because it is the same size as the bicard, so confuses them.
If you want to keep it dry just put some in a plastic drinks bottle with the lid off.
No mess and you can just bin it.
