Bought one last year, it was absolutely gorgeous, luscious green leaves with red leaves/flowers. It went a bit wrong as the leaves started going brown, I read up about it, stopped watering and moved out of direct sunlight. Over time new growth is emerging, but the plant isn't what it was; the colours have faded. On pinterest there are pictures of huge ones grown at home, I'm wondering will mine ever be like that and is it worth persevering?
