Is it too early to put tomato plants into greenhouse?

Hi, I have some small tomato plants, peppers, strawberries etc in pots bought at garden centre day before lockdown.

They are outside on the patio during the day in sun and inside at night. They are getting bigger day by day. I have grow bags to plant them into. Is it too early to plant them in green house for risk of frost, shall I wait until May? or will it be fine as the greenhouse will give them more protection than just being in the soil in the garden.

Thanks for any advice

Ours are in the greenhouse now, after being in the warm house.
Wouldn’t put any out yet.

Mine are in greenhouse too. I think they're fine. I agree it's a bit early to put any outside though.

The greenhouse is perfect now, even in colder parts of the country. If the overnight temperature is expected to plunge just cover them in fleece.

Thank you for your replies. I'll pop them in the greenhouse now then.

I drape some fleece over things if it's cold -propped up with canes -- also over seedlings if sun is v strong.

Can I please ask how low the temperature would need to get for you to cover them up at night? We have two really cold nights expected in the coming week, so I’m going to wait until after that to put mine into the greenhouse.

Also, would you hold off a little longer with cucumbers? I think they’re less able to handle cold than the tomatoes, but mine are getting really big and I’d like to get them into the greenhouse soon!
