Resurrecting bare root hedging?

Somehow I managed to forget our bare root hornbeam hedging which has been sitting in our foyer for about 2 weeks now. I opened it this morning and the roots were very dried out. It’s only a small amount, 10 or so plants for a small area I wanted to screen.

I’ve popped it into a bucket to soak overnight but what else can I do to cajole it into life? Would planting it into some compost with root grow and keeping it in the shade & moist for a while help? Any other ideas or am I totally out of luck? Thank you Smile

bare root is pretty resilient, hopefully they will get through ok.

I would plant up now and water in well and hope for the best. if you leave them in water too long the roots might drown.
