Crocuses

Massive garden, never got round to planting many of my spring flowering bulbs, and I want to get some in the ground a.s.a.p.

Aside from going to a garden centre, is there anywhere I can order flowering bulbs from, i.e. daffs / crocuses that I can plant straight in.

We've had massive flooding this year and I just want to brighten things up.

Thanks in advance :-)

I dont think it's a great idea to plant when flowering. You can buy them in pots and then replant when finished flowering.

Oh okay Theworldisfullofgs, I did this with little narcissi last year and they've come up this year, I'm just wondering if there's anywhere I can shop online.

I've seen bulbs sold online but not bulbs in flower.
Sorry.

It's a bit late for flowering crocuses maybe narcissi are more hardy! Buy some irises , mine are flowering at the moment esp. the ones in full sun.

Google "in the green" if you want to buy them as plants not bulbs.

Getting a bit late for daffodils, so you might have more luck buying from a local garden centre

Yes like bluebells!! They' re later, they'll brighten your garden up nicely

Thanks guys. I have ordered some in the green crocuses, iris, double snowdrops and some other beautiful flower, as well as some snow in summer, and I'm sure my planting session will bring me and my garden out of the doldrums.

Careful with the 'snow in summer' it can take over when it's happy Grin mine has. It is pretty though.
