Infested house plants

So after kicking my chilli out after finding caterpillars on it, I think I may have naively thought that was it.
Just doing the cleaning and under my flowering succulent, there was loads of black dots.
So, pulled it out. It’s utterly infested (it has spent the summer outside as had the chilli) with potentially white fly and the little moth things - there was also two snails!!
I’ve kicked it outside, I’ve wiped everything down with white vinegar. Rinsed every house plant I can with warm water and sprayed them with garlic spray.
I’ve a few terrariums I can’t rinse so I’ve just sprayed them with the garlic spray. I’ve also an ornamental pineapple (or stunt pineapple as it’s known Wink ), I can’t rinse that one so I’ve wiped it’s leaves with alcohol and sprayed the top - I have a resident spider in there so think he’s more useful than a hindrance.

I’ve also chucked out my beloved kitchen basil.

So my question, what else can I do? I’ve seen the pesticide sticks you poke in the soil, I am anti pesticides, but feel marginally better about them on indoor plants as they have little interaction with the outside world.

How else do others manage it?

Eternal vigilance, squishing or washing off at the first sign of trouble. And separating out plants that go outside from plants that stay indoors.

Also, not growing things that prove themselves susceptible to pests. Basil is the exception - despite its attraction for greenfly, I still like to have my own basil.

Thank you, I am hopeful nothing seems to have spread. I think your right, keeping them separate seems to be the way forward. Everything seems to have survived the garlic spray and warm shower too.
So I think I might add that to a every so often routine.

I have vague recollections of my parents massive bottle garden being chucked after being infested with creatures.
