I threw a couple of packets of mixed wild flower seeds into 3 big pots and with big tall lillies in the middle the effect was stunning.
The wild flowers are now well past their best and i would like to plant something else in the pots.
Should i just leave them to grow back next year or can i literally bin them ?
Thanks.x

Many wildflowers are annuals (eg. cornflowers, poppies), so this year's plants will die and need to be thrown away (or left to eventually rot down). However, if left long enough to have set and released seed, you may find new plants popping up in the pot next year anyway.

Do you know what flowers they were ?
