Talk time about chainsaws

What do you have? what brand is best? We need to cut about 4-5 tons of firewood a year, plus the usual gardening activities.

We bought one of the battery ones from Lidl last year and it has been bloody brilliant!

Interesting, I considered the battery ones but I don’t think they are big enough for our needs (18” bar)

Get training, wear the correct protective gear(ballistic nylon trousers and gloves, helmet with eye and ear protection), I own a 20" bar Stihl and two smaller husquarna saws. I prefer the still for quality and longevity.

Go on a course and get properly trained, and all the protective gear too. They will suggest a suitable make.
