Sudden browning and crisping of rose flowers

Does anyone have any idea what happened to my climbing rose? Almost all of the flowers have gone brown and crispy in the last week without the flowers having opened fully. The plant itself is perfectly fine and all the other roses in the garden are normal. It's never happened before.

Rain, usually. Not all roses are susceptible, and it depends on which stage of opening they were at when the rain happened.

Aridane in the case of my rose it wasn't rain, as it was dry then but maybe yours was caused by the rain?
