How to revive my indoor plant? (Pic)

My indoor asparagus plant has yellowing leaves and is very leggy.

Can I divide it?

Should I repot it (can I use regular multi purpose compost)? Should I cut it back? I bought it just under a year ago.

Looks like it wouldn't come to harm in a bigger pot.

Any chance you have been over watering it?

How much sun does it get? Leggy usually means it’s desperately trying to find some light.

I don't think I've been overwatering (if anything, under watering, but it's never wilted or lost leaves etc)

Light is bright but indirect (right next to a permanently closed transparent white blind)

I think I'll repot it- just would like to know if I can divide it (while I'm at it) and do I need special houseplant compost , if that even exists?!

Can you feed houseplants with regular feed like seaweed feed?

Did you pop it out of the pot and take a look at the roots?

Haven't done so yet cake
