Hello, we have this bush in our garden which is now in flower and the bees love it. I am hoping it’s elderflower but I have a feeling it’s not. Could anyone identify for me please? Thank you

It’s hard to tell from that picture alone. There’s a good blog here with clear pictures that should help with your identification .

That's not Elderflower as they have separate "flat umbrella" type flowers, as in the picture.

Hard to tell from your photo as its a bit too close up, but i would say either a white Buddleia or a white lilac.

Thank you all. It doesn’t smell of anything so regretfully can’t be a lilac. Here’s a better photo I hope. Thank you for all your suggestions I’m checking them all out.

Escallonia iveyi or ligustrum sinense?

It could be a Deutzia - we have a pale pink one that the bees adore and it's flowering now.
