Trevor is missing...

Last year I planted some plume thistle Cirsium rivulare Trevor's Blue Wonder in a wildlife garden.

However, he has gone missing.

Or, is this it, that I dug up last month ( because I can't leave well alone and am always rearranging) - and put in a pot to identify later?

thanks!

Not fully acquainted with Trevor, but could you have planted chamomile recently?

That looks exactly like Yarrow.

ahhh...I planted yarrow too!

Could it be that you planted an annual version? Maybe you’ve weeded out the seedlings?

Its quite heavy, wet clay soil, so I thought I had lost all the yarrow over winter. It's a nice bonus that one has survived, but I think it's not been good for the thistle and it hasn't come through.

Oh well, right plant right place and all that. Its a learning curve, but I'm so impatient!
