What do you think is the classiest/poshest/most sophisticated garden bench colour?

The fence is grey.

Aubergine. I love it but I accept it isn't to everybody’s taste!

Plain wood in its natural colour (Lutyens style shapes arguably the best) or wrought iron in white or duck-egg blue

We have aubergine mirror frames, f&b pelt.

It’s a wooden bench but dh put a wicked stain on it and it doesn’t look great.

National Trust green. That should go nicely with grey. Anything else you can paint, too, to make it more of a deliberate statement.
