My garden is aboit 5 x4 grass area. We are having 4x4 of artificial grass installed and the remaining metre we are putting slate down for. The slate is to go on the strip where we get a lot of standing water and even in the spring the ground is wet. If we dig some of the mud out, what will be beat for water absorbance under the slate? Bark and sand then membrane and stones perhaps?
It's a housing association house but told it is our problem to fix so don't want to spend lots given the cost of the artificial grass!
