I thought I had Holly in the garden

Leaves look like holly but turns out it is

I have no taste or smell at the moment. Even a ton of Vick on my chest seems like snuffle babe. Will hopefully catch it before it loses it's scent.

Mahonia is really great for bees. Also evergreen and lovely in winter, especially if it flowers early. Congratulations. It is slow growing but lovely.

Mine isn't slow growing! It was all cut back before I moved in last year and now it's massive. Must be the soil/position.
