Either a buddleia or a lilac tree

Is this on a bush or on a stem from an annual or perennial border plant?

What shape/size are the heads?

What shape/shade of green/size are the leaves?

Yes it could be anything without more info.

Is it like a big ball of smaller flowers? (don't watch eastenders)

Could be Hydrangea?
