Tree identification

Can anyone tell me what this is please? It’s a small tree in my back garden. I’ve recently moved so this garden is new to me 😊.

It’s a Ceanothus - Californian lilac. Lucky you

Oh fabulous thank you! Previous owners did say there was a lilac somewhere but I’d assumed they were mistaken as there’s nothing that looks like Syringa...this must be what they meant 😁
