Has anyone successfully fox proofed their garden? How did you go about it? I'm so sick of them shitting on my patio and we have a 1 year old bum shuffler Sad

almost impossible
ime where a cat can go a fox can as well.
motion activated sprinklers are the best bet.

I know it can be annoying but what a fab looking fox, so healthy.

Bear2014 · 24/02/2019 20:28

I feel bad but really don't like them and almost regret paying for a garden only to be put off really using it.

My grandfather always swore by peeing round the perimeter of his hen houses - said it kept the foxes away! Might be worth asking your other half to take his comfort breaks in the garden from now on? Grin (afraid it also has to be male urine to work apparently)

Bear2014 · 24/02/2019 20:43

Sadly we're an all female household! So not really sustainable Grin

the peeing doesn't work round here.
check under patio/outbuildings/sheds if there is a den.
chilli & garlic powder for most affected areas.

Bear2014 · 24/02/2019 20:49

Do you just scatter the chilli powder? There may be a den behind back hedge somewhere so I'm thinking some really good wire fencing might help

Chicken wire!
