My lupin has baby springy lupins coming out of the top. Cuttings?

Can I chop these off and use as cuttings?

Would anybody know?

I tried lupin cuttings once and they failed miserably but I was only a novice. I'd be curious to know the answer to this our question too!

Though at this time of year I'd imagine you'd need to be very careful with conditions such a basal heat, drainage etc.

Maybe wait until the spring.
