Do I want one for Xmas?

Reviews seem to vary from "ooh yes, marvellous" to "the weeds are laughing at me".

I got an electric one a few weeks ago. I use it for the weeds in the paving cracks, it seemed to work well. There is a bit of a burning veg smell!
But, I do find manual weeding quite therapeutic so only use the wand on the stubborn weeds, and of course when it’s not wet.
It is preferable to using chemicals.

I'm with you in finding the manual weeding therapeutic, but unfortunately can't do much any more.

Did it burn the weeds quite quickly, or did you have to stand there for a while?

Depends on size of weed, dandelion style weeds needed about 3/4 mins burning and might need a revisit. Smaller, finer weeds went quite quickly.

Ah, maybe I'll be need to to sit on a seat, burning everything within reach...
