Hello you green fingered lovelies, never posted here before, but may be the first of many now it's summer?
Any tips for how to get rid of mildew on a beautiful big acanthus. Looks really sad, was fabulous last year.

if it is white mildew it is 'powdery mildew' which is caused by dry roots. You can try watering it lots but ime it doesn't make a lot of difference. really need to dig it up and plant it somewhere a little damper and/or give it a really good water then mulch it
