Rattan outdoor sofa

[Monkey2333]

Not strictly gardening, but I am seeking advise on rattan type furniture. I would like to buy a rattan sofa but need it to stay outdoors all year long (I would take the cushions in). I have noticed that some are made of metal, some palm wood, and some plastic.
Which type is best in order for it to survive being outside continuously please?

Hi I ordered a patio dining set from Rattan Direct about 7 years ago and it is still looking like brand new! This summer I also ordered a sofa set and I am very pleased with it too. I would say it is rattan effect but whatever it is, is is hard wearing and very durable.
