Hi, Ok hands up - I'll admit right away I am an Rspca Insp (many years!) & I have been totally hoodwinked into thinking my beautiful blooming fig tree was the local feral Tom cat piss stop, to the extent of setting humane traps etc....... NOW I realise after much research.......... IT IS MY ACTUAL fig tree causing the urine smell. It has been at it's absolute peak of reek during the very hot weather we have recently had. As it sits in a border right next to my patio furniture it has been decided (Husband) that it has to go. Are there any other solutions please? watering it with something to neutralise the smell? Pruning new growth to within an inch of it's life? HELP, it looks amazing, but smells REVOLTING! ..........
