i have a very large garden but dont want to erect an allotment or anything as i really dont have the time.

I already grow a few things such as thyme which has flowered and dont know when to cut or if i can eat it with the flowers on it. (I dont want to cut now as the bumble bees are enjoying it)

Rosemary and again i dont know when the best time ti cut it is, its flowered and about 6ft tall.

a Couple of raspberry bushes, lived here for 5 yrs and not tasted them.

Bay leaves but dont know how to dry them out to store?

Parsley which has started to fall over because of the weight, not sure what to do with it.

Garlic Chives dont use them

Fennel, never had it and not sure what/when/how to eat it.

All in all i am not a gardener but would like some tips on becoming one with a little bit at a time. I also like free things and things i can do with my son. My garden is very sunny with not a lot of shade.

thanks
