Best Seed Compost

My daughter is having little pots with herb seeds in each one as her wedding favours. I want to know what is the BEST seed compost on the market to give theses babies the best chance of growing once the guests have taken them home.

John Innes seed compost or it might also be known as John Innes No1.
It is a compost mix rather than a brand of compost.

Westland composts have been the best, I use the JI ones for all my cacti, they don't contain all the rubbish that other composts seem to contain.
