I woke up from a dream i was watering and my hands were watering cans.

Any tips for reducing watering?

The up side is few weeds as I’m only watering the plants ....

Didn't you plant any courgettes

I have a lovely little solar powered irrigation pump which runs off a water butt attached to the greenhouse, so the tomatoes in there get watered daily so I don't have to do it. The rest gets watered as and when I get down there, or not at all. Am considering drenching the potatoes in oil and hoping they come up ready roasted.

I just moved to a bigger plot so I only have beans to water just now. The weeding/clearing is giving me a new appreciation for my old tiny plot Confused

My husband is gadget obsessed (and we don’t have a hosepipe ban!) - I laughed we he set up the 4 way valve control system on the outdoor tap - not laughing now! It runs 3 sprinklers that do the veg beds, pots and fruit trees and refills the water butt if it falls below a set level for the dripper system in the greenhouse. It’s the only reason that anything is still alive.
