How long?

I have a nearly empty border and am very excited to choose some lovely things to go in it!

I’m happy to be patient and watch it develop but how long would it take for the border to go from lots of small new plants and empty space to looking more established?

I don’t know how else to explain it so I have included photos. Grin

You could plant one or two small hebes (shrubs) and some tallish perennials to fill the spaces.
