What are people’s thoughts on these - are they easy to plant and take care of? I’m a novice gardener who has always liked them, and am thinking of getting one for my south-west facing, clay soil garden!

I have two in the heaviest, mankiest clay I've ever seen. They were well established when we moved in and are doing well with no attention whatsoever. I think the reason they've become so invasive in places is because they're hard to kill, which is always a recommendation in my book!

They like acid soil. Do other people have success with them in gardens nearby?

Hi Yamadori, I haven't spotted any in my neighbours' gardens, but Utterly has given me hope as I too have heavy clay soil! Great that they're so low-maintenance as well. I think the flowers are so pretty!

I too have crappy soil but buy the liquid feed for them and use every couple of weeks
